About Montana

Montana Tayler Johnson is a 22-yr-old artist and designer based in Nashville, TN. In May 2019, she will graduate with a BFA in Design Communications from Belmont University.

A proud member and Co-VP of BU's chapter of Kappa Pi, an international college art organization, Montana works with other art majors and minors to encourage active participation in the Department of Art and an excitement to study and create among the students. In the past she's served as Secretary and helped organize and design a successful mural series for St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN.

Montana is currently working as a graphic designer with Asurion, where she does plenty of branding, illustration, and information design. She loves her coworkers and looks forward to many more fun projects with them.

When not hard at work, she’s illustrating and planning new projects! Montana creates whimsical and colorful illustrations, and has been featured on multiple occasions in projects like Avilloary, an illustrated anthology of the various birds of the world.
